MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(Marketwire – June 29, 2010)<\/strong> – Dynacor Gold Mines Inc. (“Dynacor”) (TSX:DNG) today announced that its Board of directors has appointed Mr René Branchaud as Chairman of the Board, replacing Mr Jean Martineau. Ms. Johanne Duchesne was appointed, as a new member of the Company’s Board of directors at the annual general meeting held on June 16, 2010.<\/p>\n

Mr Branchaud has served on Dynacor’s Board as Company Secretary since 2007. He is a Partner with the law firm Lavery, de Billy, L.L.P and has practiced law with Lavery, de Billy since 1983. René is a member of the Quebec Bar and is currently a director of several public corporations.<\/p>\n

Mr. Branchaud commented, “I am pleased to be appointed Chairman of Dynacor’s Board. The company and its proactive business model of utilizing the custom-milling strategy to support exploration expenses is very positive. The Tumipampa property, located close to some of the world’s largest mining deposits, offers the Company major upside potential. Ms. Duchesne served as a special advisor, corporate finance for two law firms from 2000 to 2008. From 1982 until 2000, she worked for the Commission des valeurs mobilières du Québec (now the Autorité des marchés financiers) where she was Director, Capital markets from 1997 to 2000. Ms. Duchesne supervised all of the capital market’s operations. She holds an MBA from the University de Sherbrooke. Ms. Duchesne is also a director of La Mancha Resources Inc.<\/p>\n
